I was looking at some Morgan’s and Peace $ to buy for a customer and there in the box was 4 prez dollars in the box, I said what is this. They said they are dollars then I saw this! It was a prez dollar but something was wrong so I pulled it to the side then it hit me it’s not gold so for $2.00 why not any one know what it’s worth or may be worth do you think it’s worth sending it in?

Yep... Plated... PMD... For years I worked in an industry that did a lot of metal plating (gold, silver, tin, lead, copper). Employees were always plating coins - probably still do. Very common. Cheers, RickO

    I must concur, plated.
Keep having fun as that’s the name of the game.

The bitterness of "Poor Quality" is remembered long after the sweetness of low price is forgotten.
