Hi guys,
Yep, I decided to go hunting after half Dollar Kennedys today.
Look, unsuccessful.
However...
Here's Why.
Lol
Because the majority of them aren't Kennedys. They're Franklins!!
2nd Roll.
Look how many Silvers in one roll.
FINALLY!

Wonder where they were hiding?
More heirs dumping coins as quickly as possible.
Too bad the silver half dollars are not all MS67FBL Franklins and MS68 Walkers fresh from unopened rolls.
Nice reward for your CRH efforts.
Make a second trip to the bank who provided these rolls to you.
You better high tail it back to that same bank and ask for more!
Congrats!!

You should ask if whoever dropped them off dropped off any other denominations. Great find!
Now you can really down the Starbucks!
Huge score. Happy for you!

Nice haul of silver!
I am dating myself, but I remember when all rolls of dimes, quarters, half dollars and dollar US coinage you could acquire from a bank (or even a store) looked just like Joeycoins' latest CRH silver strike.
Twas no big thing back in the day.
Even after the Clad coinage era started, for a number of years (into the 1970s) it was common to see rolls of silver coins at banks (that had been rolled from accumulated pocket change and turned into banks by customers).
My mother acquired a few of these rolls of silver and brought them home for me to look through (thanks Mom).
YES!
I took your advice.
I went back to find any customer wrapped in different denominations?
Hopefully, from the same customer!
Thanks.

Collector, occasional seller
Nice story, thanks for posting.
That still had to be something. Finding all the same alloy. Esp. Silver! Of course, back in that day. Silver probably was only worth $2 or so, an ounce, right?
