Anyone know if the Santa Clara coin show is still a thing?
Used to be held in November I think, at the convention center. I can't find anything recent online that mentions any upcoming dates. Could this show have been a Covid fatality?

There was a Show nearby in San Jose just a few days ago: https://forums.collectors.com/discussion/1081084/coinexpo-san-jose/p1

Same “promotor” just changed location to San Jose. No doubt due to declining dealers .attending.
So the tiny San Jose show I went to last weekend is "the new" Santa Clara show? Oh man, kind of a bummer. I remember that Santa Clara show being pretty darn large.
The couple (I don't know their name) that did the old San Jose show you rememberretired from the gig and just were never replaced. Or so that's the story they tell. A different show runner came in to fill the space they left, but it's a different show at roughly the same place at roughly the same time.

PCGS took over the show for a couple of years and even NGC made an appearance as well. Seems like the show has been on the decline for years.

No,
there has not been a Santa Clara show post pandemic, it was twice a year, usually one in March and Septish. They still have the one in Sunnyvale, the next in November. See attached.

Glad to see someone has picked it up. Used to live in that area, always thought there should have been more coin interests there. Never was a lot of shops/shows. Cheers, RickO
