Bust Half 1828 (1st Ed - probably not but thought I would ask)

So this is another one of the new TV of one of my bust half.
1828 curl base 2, no knob and got a XF45
When I purchased it about 2 decades ago on the flip it said 1st edition Overton plate coin. It was priced normally and no value for this little bit of information. I had forgot about it but was updating spreadsheet and noticed the note I made in the SS. So I found the old flip and took a photo.

I checked the Overton sale but for the 1828 O101 it was not noted as a plate coin (the noted Fine grade would have probably disqualified it).

So I was just curious now if anyone had a 1st edition Overton and if anything could be made of it. I don't think so base off of the 3rd edition photos in the book I have (not much detail and black and white) unless the grade is way off or some strike characteristic. It has more toning now than when I bought it but the TV is a half a shade or so to dark as it is lighter overall to my eyes (both sides). Again nothing to do with $ value, just curious.

And the flip - note the flip grade matches the pcgs grade (how did that happen :) )

Okay, realizing that the first edition:
    1) has black & white photos
    2) has very small pictures,

    That said:

The toning seems very similar, although a bit lighter.
The wear on the bust seems to be very similar.
The reverse toning appears similar, but not as dark.

    However, on the plate coin:
There appears to be a slight clash mark on the reverse from the eagle's head to the EPU, although this could be a toning on the plate coin.

Thanks for the input. Sounds like still a possibility. So I will tape that flip to the top of the slab and let it hang down the backside (that way I won't forget it again).

It has toned a little since I owned it (in album and setting out) and the TV is a little darker as noted.
Again, thanks for looking it up.

Thanks. When I was looking for these years ago, before I got distracted with the slab Morgans, you could find more with some color than today it seems. While I have not looked that hard recently I have looked a little.
