    Your avatar is correct.

This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

I would probably agree. But man the other three players I listed put up some amazing stats as well.
Rogers Hornsby is one of only two players(Ted Williams) to win the triple crown twice. He also won 7 batting titles, has the third highest Batting Average in history(.358), 8th OPS(175), and top ten OBP(.434). Pretty impressive!

Musial is helped by playing his whole career as a Cardinal, but you're really not missing much when you subtract off Pujols' and Hornsby's years away. Even though Gibson pitched in the most pitcher-friendly era ever, he's far and away the Best Cardinal pitcher ever (Wainwright second?).

    Stan Musial

He’s the reason Ken Griffey, Jr. is only the second best player from Donora, PA.

I will buck the trend and choose Gibson. definitely the greatest pitcher in club history. a great fielder and a pretty good hitter (for a pitcher)

I would say he is the most important postseason cardinal ever.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

Either Wainwright or Dean, depending on how you weight peak vs. longevity.

one of the sickest stats you'll ever run across:

Musial played 3,026 regular-season games and struck out three times..............wait for it...........wait for it.............in one of them

you'll never be able to outrun a bad diet
