NewP: Stone mtn commemorative! :)
This one deserved its own thread in my opinion
Pics don't do it justice, but the circulated cameo look on this one is just amazing imo...

Those first images make it appear as though the piece has a ton of PVC or glue residue on it, but the following images hide it quite well. Regardless, the surfaces underneath the material may not match the rest of the coin.
In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
I think the first pics are just a combination of poor lighting/angles, the subsequent pictures are more true to what the coin actually looks like, In hand I can clearly see some small marks/dings in the reverse fields that I don't think I would be able to see if it had some of residue/glue on it ?
I have some coins that have had serious residue/buildup of different materials and this one doesn't show that to me, I guess it's another thing that images cannot convey and you have to see it in hand....
Thanks for the feedback

Great looking circulated coin. Jackson and Lee almost look like ghost riders. It must have been someone's pocket piece at one time.

The first image certainly appears to show a green residue on the rider and horse's head. Cheers, RickO
Call it a story all of it self, nice commem
