62 Year old penny in change yesterday

I received 2 of these in change yesterday, pretty good shape I think.

    Perhaps somebody put a roll of them in the coinstar machine?

    Probably another case of heirs dumping coins they found back into circulation. The coins of that era were heavily hoarded in the hopes of future riches.

    Yep... I find wheaties once or twice a month, and keep them. I used to find a Buff nickel now and then, but none for a few months now. Have not seen a Merc in change for about a year. Cheers, RickO
