Will they be doing any commemoratives or even circulating designs for the anniversary?

    Based on the above, I would say there will be some action for the celebration. Depending on designs, I may get the $2.50 silver coin. Cheers, RickO

    OK...a $2.50 coin is a pretty cute idea!

    And I can't believe it's been nearly 50 years since the little version of me went absolutely nuts with fireworks in 1976!

    How can it have been a half century since that day?

    Can we turn back the clock...please?

    I picked up a free set of 'collector cards' at the ANA for my nephew and the fact that the mint will design coinage celebrating the Semiquincentennial is in the list of 'facts' on one of the cards.
