My Stable Diffusion coins...

KurisuKurisu Posts: 1,974 ✭✭✭✭✭

When there is new art creating artificial intelligence what do you do with it...immediately make some coins of course!

Some of you may have heard of "Deep Dream" which is in a sense an artificial intelligence for combining images to create new ones.
Well Stable Diffusion" is a new text-to-image AI modeler that generates images from text.

Go put in a crazy description of something and see what you get, it's fun!
By default it will create 4 different images based on different settings, or you can go into advanced settings and mess with things yourself...
It references up to millions of images that someway or another match the text description you enter and attempts to create your described imagery.

My initial creations...

"Coin in the style of a sunrise"

"Coin with the best band in the world"

Coins are Neato!

Cool, I’ll have to try that out sometime. When I’m bored, sometimes I do similar things manually like this, but it might be more interesting if the computer does things automatically

Ok, I tried out the stable diffusion thingy. Here’s examples of what I ended up with:
First try was “rabbit coin”, it also made 3 others that weren’t very good

Second try was “coin with rainbow and robot on it”, it made 3 others that weren’t very good

    Third try was “coin Liberty”

Fourth try was “coin eagle”, it made one more that wasn’t very good

And here’s what I ended up with using “coin PCGS AU58”

Here’s what I got with “coin PCGS Mr. Potato Head”. I wonder what the one it blocked looked like 🤔

Ok, I’m going to stop now. Here’s a few more using various keywords that I thought came out interesting

Your next assignment is to generate an entire 7070 album (with gold page). Here's the album itself:

    "7070 album with gold page"

Hah, I like the set lol!

Lost my mind making coins for about 15 minutes lol...
It's learning and it's going to get better fast! Playing with advanced settings is fun too!

"Coins designed to commemorate a galaxy"

"The most valuable coin minted in 3023"

"$5 Gold coin with Molly Pitcher on it"

"Coin that functions as a bank card and a cellphone"

"The most ancient coin in history"

"The most complicated coin in the world"

"The most detailed coin in the world"
