Hi guys,
I'm sure this has happened to many CRHunters, like me. While hunting through some quarter rolls. Look what "Fooled" me, big time! I thought for sure it was
Silver. Or at the least a foreign coin? I still don't know what it is?
Check it out guys.
Here it is!
Yes, just a 2006p Colorado!
At first I thought it could be a Silver Statehood?
However, without the "S", that goes out the window.
Maybe Platinum? I weighed it. It's the normal wt.
It certainly is in great condition. I don't know, probably just coated?
Still cool, no?
Here is the comparison.
Coated / Normal, 2006 Colorado
Thanks guys.
Watch out, don't get Fooled!

Silver-plated. The normal weight is a giveaway. Gold-plated will have normal weight, too, as the plating is uber-thin.
Yes, silver- plated! You're right. I couldn't think of the right words. Thank You.

They do also come platinum plated.
We have had several plated coins show up here on the forum over the past few months. People must have been bored during quarantine. Cheers, RickO
Sounds like a HSN exclusive.
