Well—he liked to goof around in a Zoidberg mask once every now and then.

You could say that he had wit, though.
When Grant’s detractors in Washington suggested to Lincoln that Grant was a drunk, he replied, “Tell me what brand of whiskey that Grant drinks. I would like to send a barrel of it to my other generals.”

I think Lincoln app grant for general because he could hold his own.

Without Grant, we’d be hoarding different pennies.

(Does anyone else notice that the autocorrupt feature in ios will not let you render “Pennie’s”?)

Actually, Lincoln had an excellent sense of humor. One of my favorites was this quote.

If I were two-faced, would I be wearing this one?
    Abraham Lincoln

    Cheers, RickO

In the famous Lincoln-Douglas debates, when Douglas accused Lincoln of being two-faced, Lincoln replied, referencing his homeliness, “Honestly, if I were two-faced, would I be showing you this one?” And, in a way, Lincoln's face itself tells us much about his sense of humor
