Well that was fast!

spyglassdesignspyglassdesign Posts: 1,634 ✭✭✭✭✭

I just got back a 2021 set of reverse proof designer set coins from ngc at pf70, and put them up for sale and they were sold in well under an hour. I was hoping I'd get to ogle them for at least a couple days 😭

Next time I won't be quite as aggressive with pricing I guess if I don't want to sell that fast! 😅

Anyone else have a similar experience where you were shocked something sold as fast as it did, and figured you'd get to admire something a little longer?

Never had that experience, but I do have a few coins that I'm tired of looking at and wish would sell faster. :*

It's happened to me before with some early 1800's copper, made me wish I had listed them for more $$ !

Your objective was to sell them at the price you determined. Mission accomplished. Be happy!

I'm not unhappy. With such pretty coins I was simply hoping they'd sit for a couple days first 😍😅

Next when you're creating your listing, you can schedule it to start a few days later lol.

Sounds a bit like seller's remorse ;) .... That is why I rarely sell any of my coins. Cheers, RickO

Nope! I admire them first, research current market value and price them accordingly and if they sell fast I smile and do the Happy Dance!😎

Sounds like you made a rookie mistake! Learn from it and move on.😉

@WQuarterFreddie not really. It was pretty close to market price for the last 90 days on ebay, maybe a little low but not by much. It was probably just great timing for said sale.

Don't know if it was a fluke, perfect timing, or if they really are that in demand. Either way I'm not unhappy. Just shocked at the speed.

My apologies! Congratulations on the sale!😉

Likewise. Never had one go so quickly. If all my coins I list went that quickly I would quickly become very wealthy lol
