2021 MORGAN/PEACE DOLLARS

THE 2021 DOLLAR OFFERS QUITE A CHALLENGE WHEN A SET OF 6 COINS IS EXPANDED INTO 24. (ADVANCE RELEASE, FDOI, FS, CIRC) ALL THE SAME COIN WITH DIFFERENT STRIKE DATES. BUT WHAT EXACTUALLY IS AN ADVANCED RELEASE? IT MUST BE MINTED BEFORE A FDOI, BUT THEN WHAT IS A FDOI IF ANOTHER IS MINTED BEFORE IT?

"Advance Release" are ABPP coins (i.e., qualified buyers get early access to select products prior to the official 'issue/release' date).
"FDOI" is described here.
Edited to Add:
These terms refer to shipping dates, not manufacturing order. Generally, the Mint does not "track the order in which we mint coins during their production".

Just more slab BS to take peoples money. 1. It has nothing to do when minted. A FDOI can be the last coin minted as the first day only refers day issued not when minted. 2. advance/issue/release are just buzz words to take your money. the day will soon come when the small market for special labels evaporates and the premium disappears. Advance release only means privileged buyers got them sooner or worthless premium in my eyes..
There were 6 different Morgan/Peace dollars minted in 2021. The slab differences are labels. The preference is collectors choice.
I collect coins... not labels.... I will not pay a premium for FDOI etc. etc. etc. Some people like them. Cheers, RickO
First strikes is near meaningless - they all were sent out at once.
