Check the date against the two date types used that year. The surfaces are very odd looking.

aside from these counterfeits en-masse striving to undermine/collapse the entire system, the date is still kinda comical.
for anyone wanting to do date comps, this will require several coins because the dates are quite varied in style?, position, shape etc, especially for 69 with 68 being right behind.
Good catch! Definitely a fake. The 186 in the date are almost comical. While eBay is not the best, I do believe that they are the safest. I do not use hibid.
I would give them a nickel for it...if they paid the postage.
