In many internet forums, the moderator will step in when a person has more than FOUR posts per hundred on the thread. Because 99% of the time they have little to add.

Not here so the trolls with little to do just badger contributing posters. Sad. But it's obvious even to the untrained eye who these people are. Sad.

Wouldnt it be great if we all believed in the same stuff and had the same knowledge and experiences and formulated the same opinions?

Did you buddy sell yet? I'm trying buy at lows.

Yesterday, Had a guy come in with some fresh rolls of Eagles, not 22, but 19, 20 etc. He said he had been offered 23.12 per coin from one of the major market players. I said, let me call my man see if premiums were still up, I was able to get him another 1.50, plus 1.50 (after shipping) for myself. Also, I told him, here can walk out with cash, he dont have to ship.
I was kind of surprised at the offer from the place he called, as they are a major market maker in these, they have always been known to be pretty far and on the higher side for offers. Was curious if it was becuase he wasnt a dealer?

My friend wanted to deal 3 boxes and a bag of Morgans. I think he's pretty much determined his direction.
At that level, the lines are blurred between 'private seller' and dealer. Professional people just don't go down to the local coin shop and sell for spot.(well some do)
This wasn't his first rodeo. He just wanted a little extra liquidity and his wife wouldn't allow a rental house to be sold.
Thank you for the input. I'm completely out of my league with SAE silver premiums. I'm stunned that I can sell roosies for 21x and mercs for 27x.

    Have a nice day

The last posts are a little old.
The current dealer buy is at $10 over for BU eagles.

Bill Holter interview on USAWatchdog, silver eagles are selling for $14 to $15 OVER SPOT, if you can find them.

Authorized mint purchasers are buying for about $3 over spot and jacking the premium.

What does RGDS! mean and why do you say it so much?

    because it rhymes with "gutter?"

Paying $19 for an ounce of gutter metal is more than fair. As a matter of fact it's pretty much right on point with my DCA for ASEs. I can't help that you and derby like to overpay. RGDS!

Some people bring so very little to the discussion in terms of facts, data points or experience.

We get your repeated requests to lowball. Give it a rest. No one here is going to sell you SAE for your buy price no matter how many times you unconvincingly attempt to push your book. You are not a dealer and have very little to offer the coin community. So advertise your buy price where it works for you but you give the coin collecting community a black eye here.

I suspect he's trying to make up for overpaying in the past. Dollar cost trolling at its best.

I don't know about '22. I've purchased one box. Sold it early. I haven't had one request for a silver eagle in about 6 months. Have moved several monster boxes of rounds. Good luck. They should rename them American silver turkeys.

Yup demand almost at an all time low. Go figure, the great ASE "shortage" of '22. Don't mention to the conspiracy nuts. RGDS!
