1838 Hard Times Token

Found this 1838 “Am I Not A Women & A Sister” anti-slavery hard times token at my local Jewerly store. I never seen one before and I just had to have it. I think Individually I might have over paid ($150-) but he also included a 1856 slanted 5 type 3 one dollar gold piece for $115- (rim slightly bent because it was in a bracelet) which he acid tested to be real.
Has anyone else ever found one of these or the man token?

Assuming it is real (it looks real/cleaned to me) it is a desirable token.
I've never "found" one, but someday I might buy one. I have a modern restrike with both obverses.
Price seems fair for the condition. I own two uncirulated examples of this HT-81 variety with the woman. The American version with the man is extremely rare and goes for roughly $50-100K depending on condition.
Nice and typical condition in general. It is such an emotionally charged coin... the message is clear. Cheers, RickO
Impressive token!

Nice token to have. I have one in a small ANACS holder, AU50. Most of the time the second "8" in the date on the reverse is very weak. The US version of "Am I Not A Man" is very rare with only a few known. There is a British version of the "Am I Not A Man" token that is scarce, but easily found.
