1893-S Morgan-Online Auction House

I'm not that familiar with Morgans. I see a lot of them posted here. This one just didn't look right to me. Your thoughts.

In honor of the memory of Cpl. Michael E. Thompson
Opening bid is $300,000. LOL

There was only one die used for this coin, so all real examples have the same die markers. Here is what to look for: https://www.pcgs.com/coinfacts/coin/1893-s-1/7226
If it is real it's a half million dollar coin or better in my opinion.
I do believe it's not the real deal. The 3 in the date is not in the right position over the dentil. I don't see the rabbit ear on the LIBERTY either.

Wow look at the clean cheek. It definitely looks fake-68 to me.
And the "S" mint mark is in the wrong location (too high).
.
one obv two rev iirc
good grief, after seeing the image above with the die gouge T, that brings back memories i hadn't thought about in a long time about scouring 93-s in-person to see if i could find the gouge on low-grade examples! man i spent a lot of time chasing diagnostics on certain coins. sheesh.

just to pile on.
edited to add further:
after looking at a lot of the items, this gives me flashbacks to the many stories (HORROR) that i heard from dealers at different shows about collections that used to come in where people would say those were the kinda prices and grades many a dealer used to claim to many a buyer and many a buyer fortune was lost when came time to sell, if the coins weren't outright fake. brutal stuff.
.
liberty is always incuse.
This is the type of stuff that scares me as a newbie...I am more than happy sticking with Lincoln cents for now. Yes key dates could be faked to I know but still....
I'm going to see a guy in another state who I met at a coin show and who folks know in my local club (I'm going there anyway)....call me old fashioned but I prefer face to face with people who are known. Maybe that type of coin and coin market is different for super high-end markets, I likely will never know but am fine with that.
HiBid again...
I'm sure others than just me sent the auctioneer an email but the listing is now gone...
I did. The owner wanted to talk to me. I just gave them the link to this page.
Was this in any kind of holder?
Just the OP's images.
It was in an aftermarket snap together holder. Not graded by any company, good or bad.

Good catch... and Thanks to all for posting the excellent detail pictures. Many forum members will learn from this type of thread. Cheers, RickO
