The GTG exercise is meant to be purely entertaining on any coins i post here....it is never meant to throw shade on anyone...or PCGS...i am willing/able to figure out what to do with the coin sooner or later!
I am curious about the CAC angle as i have no way to submit...even if the coin received a gold bean not sure it would be enough of a bump compared to resubmitting?
Grading is subjective... it is not a math problem and some opinions are better than others. A coin within a slab represents a grade opinion that is memorialized in time... at that time. And collectors/graders are entitled to change their opinion especially as time passes.
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.

You can find a dealer to submit coins to CAC for you in the dealer directory.
I think this is a perfect example of where getting the correct guess in a GTG is more of an incorrect guess. If the coin truly looks like the TrueView in hand, with no major marks, booming luster, and a overall very pleasing look, I will not hesitate in saying PCGS got this one wrong.
However, I don't have the coin in hand so I can't say PCGS got it wrong for sure. Based off off of the images, I stick with my 66 assessment.
Talk about blinding luster. Now that the grade is revealed you go back and study the subject harder and compare to photo grade. It then becomes easy to see when you compare your Liberty’s blouse and facial features to the 63 in Photo grade.
At least it appears yours has either a weaker strike or some rub in those areas coupled with the number of hits on the reverse it seems the luster carried it to a 63.
Good example of why it's best not to rush to judge before you the grade is announced
It's called Guess The Grade for a reason.
This lone guess was correct, there must be something here we don't see.
I agree with the CAC angle, that would be cool if you got a gold bean.
I'd leave it as is, if that was the case.
Well, it seems that it’s a lot more fair to rush to judgment before the grade is revealed, rather than afterwards.😉
The lone 63 grade matched the assigned grade, but based on the images provided, I believe that it was incorrect.
agreed afterwards is always best
I just felt maybe you should not have questioned the lone 63.
Your word has tremendous weight here, many respect you as I do, and for many years, so I am going to wager that no one wanted to guess 63 or close to that, based on your comment.

I was hoping I could get the other poster to explain his thinking, before we all knew the assigned grade. And I see lots of posters whose grade guesses are seemingly unaffected by my comments.
Thank you for your support and kind comment.

A lot of these have some minor friction/rub on the knee, so an otherwise knockout can be limited to a 63 or 64.
Must be some hairlines that are hard to see? That's all I can figure given the information and pictures posted here...
