Roger Staubach Topps cards autograph project complete!

About 10 years ago I bought a Roger Staubach autographed rookie and decided to take a run at getting all of his Topps playing days cards autographed to go with my PSA set. I decided to include everything: league leaders, in action, playoff and super bowl cards, if it pictured Roger I'd get it signed. I got the last couple of cards back from a private signing last week and the project is complete, but as most collectors know, it's not finished. I've got a few to upgrade and then there are a few that I simply will keep buying when I get the chance. I really don't believe anyone can ever have too many Roger Staubach's. A few of those are Beckett authenticated and a few came from private signings recently. They will all end up in PSA/DNA slabs eventually.

Roughly around the same time you were starting this collection, I was working on a big project at work. Our primary vendor had a business relationship with Roger, so as a thank you for our business, they offered to have Roger come to our office and spend an afternoon with us. We could set it up however we wanted - autographs, pictures, tell stories over lunch, whatever. Unfortunately, neither our CEO nor our Head of HR were sports fans. I couldn’t persuade them to take up the offer.

This is a long way of saying your Staubach auto collection kicks the hell out of mine. Congrats.

PS - have since gotten new job and CEO is a huge sports guy.

Thanks everyone! This is probably my favorite of all the projects I've completed in my collection.
@JakeR2234 you know I'm working on that one, but it's going to take a lot more cheddar than this one did!
