Error values

Is there any place that indicates the values of error coins? I'm not thinking about "minor" errors but more significant errors such as a coin on wrong planchet, (example: nickel minted on a cent), double struck where there are two partial coin images, to name a couple.

I would go search online auction sites like HA to see what similar coins have sold for.

Price lists while helpful do not address eye appeal which is so important to error coinage or any coinage for that matter.
As an example, a double struck coin could have perfect eye appeal like my avatar or it could be horrible ugly like some error coins are. A double struck coin could be a rare date for error coins. It could be a flip over double struck coin. Are there two dates visible? Are there two profiles? Is one or both of the strikes off center? BU or AU? MS62 or MS66? All this affects the price.
Wholesale or retail?
Chris- yes, eye appeal is of utmost importance for mint errors. Excellent images on the website of the dealer, or auction company, can make all the difference!
As stated above by @ErrorsOnCoins, there are many variables when it comes to pricing error coins. Even more than with standard coins. The above links will certainly help, and good book to have is 100 Greatest Error Coins. It helps to understand the errors and coin process. Cheers, RickO
Mike Byers - The links you posted show some truly amazing examples of error coins. I particularly liked the IHC on a 2 1/2 gold and the double struck WLHs. Stunning as were many others.
Thanks
can anyone give me any kind of information on these two pennies

Both of those are post-mint damage and are not worth anything.
PMD, but still very interesting looking.
From some of the damaged coins we've seen posted here with TrueViews, I wouldn't be surprised to see this show up with one!
