More random (cheap) coin pickups

Don't know much about these but they were cheap at my local pawn shop and thought they were interesting looking... Maybe one of them will become another coin hunt obsession after the Morgan's fancy wears thin? 😅

Don't know what you paid for them, but it would be very wise to research the coins and prices when buying from a pawn shop.

My experience with pawn shops: coins are usually over graded and over priced, except when the pawn shop is buying.
Yeah I like that one best.

A few bucks. I've bought a lot from them so they always give me a lower price than sticker.

OH I do. A couple of these were just a few bucks each, for fun more than anything.

Just an observation... a "few dollars" here an "a few dollars " there can add up to a nice raw coin if you're patient and know what you're looking for...

@lkenefic very true. These are my very first pieces of these kinds of coins so I wasn't worried about how nice they were. Just something to look at. I do find the seated liberty coins particularly interesting though, so I will probably do more research on those. 👍

A couple of casual buys of interesting old coins is OK if cheap enough. Might spur an interest in doing a series. Cheers, RickO
Yeah we are talking $20 total for 2 of the coins. The v Nickel was more but still a good price compared to pcgs price guide.
I am finding the sitting liberty quite intriguing in particular. So much so I've actually started really digging into them and studying them.
