A period at the end of "In God We Trust". Also look at his ear. I'll get better photos. This photo was taken on the app coinscope. What do yall think?

Looks like the "period" is a die chip, adds no value. The ear looks to have taken a hit and is damaged. Also your photo is of a 1984-D not a 1984.

    Either that or plating blisters.

You're right, I forgot to put the mintmark. I apologize for that. Thank you for your knowledge. I went and looked at the first photo I took of this coin on coinscope and the light and angle definitely was the problem in the photo above.

In our world of coin collecting, your 1984-D Lincoln has a die chip after the word "TRUST". It is worth little to nothing over what is face value for the coin.

Small varieties like yours are good for conversation pieces, but there is no more than that to be said.

@BabsSoLo316.... Welcome aboard. Your cent has a die chip and Post Mint Damage (PMD), as indicated above. Cheers, RickO
