From reading some of the posts on the forum it appears there is many issues with the shipping of this coin. Extreme delays in shipping and some have still not received their coins.

My coin remains in "processing." It may not arrive until after I am dead, in which case oh well. I have yet to receive either half dollar or the uncirculated silver dollar of this commemorative either. They can all have a big party after I am gone.
They took my money July 14 and have sent me lovely emails ( suitable for framing) about blah blah blah and stuff. Sorry about the August 22? Delay, which could turn into x-mas. Even took $4.95 shipping which months ago I qualified for free shipping.
All in all a very disappointing roll out and laughable excuses. Idiots 😉🙀🦫

I received mine a while back now.
Got mine ~8/3. Waiting on the 2 "extra" proof halves I ordered on a whim later in June.
My Dad also ordered a colorized $, still waiting on that.
We both got the 8/22 emails.
I did not know about the shipping delays. Any explanations? Production issues? Cheers, RickO

The sent emails saying August 22 with no explanation. I talked to the mint and they acknowledged the delay but didn’t have any reason 😉🙀🦫

I think that I wrote in another thread that I believe the mint is just waiting to process the returns of the first batch sent out. The returns of those who opened up their packages and realized they did not have a 70 coin!
Maybe they'll even recycle the boxes and place new shipping labels over the original ones!
