I found a 2018P dime smooth copper color edge -- Anything special? EDIT: Apparently not... :(

So while CRHing, I managed to find a 2018P dime that is thicker than usual, smooth copper color edge, color of the coin is a bit off and parts of the center on both sides (FDR's cheek and the torch on the back). I suspect it was a dime struck on a penny blank by mistake.

Is this really anything special as far as being worth anything (besides a dime of course) or is it just a unique find and nothing much more?

What does it weigh? Normally it's not possible for a small coin to be struck on a planchet for a larger coin without the help of a mint employee.

I don't have that kind of equipment unfortunately.

The coin has been spooned. If it were struck on a cent blank, the whole thing would be copper not just the edge.
