Another NEWP for the type set! 1865 Half Dime!

I’ve been needing a half dime for the type set and couldn’t resist this one.
Usually a common date with nice eye appeal is sufficient, but a scarce coin with eye appeal? Why not? 
Freshly graded from an estate, new to the market and immediately back off of the market again!

Eye appeal is to some extent subjective. That kind of toning doesn’t appeal to me. It certainly could look better in person.

Primarily the 12 piece gold, but possibly branching into no motto, classic head, etc.
Also the main type coins generally seen. I don’t expect to have them all, but as many as possible, plus I have to really like the coin regardless of price, rarity, etc.

A beautiful coin! I think second rarest date in all combined grades in the run of Seated Half Dimes. Not counting 1870-s. I think only the 1846 is scarcer.
