There was a scheduled break at the National for a $15K box of first year 2012 Panini Prizm and when the break went live they found this inside....

Hats off to this guy for keeping his composure.
edit: a few swear words are beeped out but I'm adding NSFW just in case.

That sucks for him and everyone who bought a spot. Whoever sold that to him needs to be run out of the industry.
Unfortunately the seller may not even be responsible, he may have bought the box from the real culprit.
I'll wager the Pokeman case and the Basketball box were produced by the same individual.
Probably tip of iceberg stuff. "You ain't seen nothin' yet" may apply.

That’s why cards are meant to be opened!!!!
Seriously, this is starting to be a huge problem. DACW starting to authenticate boxes are from a sealed case direct from the manufacturer is a bigger deal than people have made it out to be.
That sucks. Feel awful for them. I think someone like BBCE can say something appears to be authentic based on the way it was packaged but if people can get the shrinkwrap with the same design and know how to seal it so it looks the same or know how to get the seal to look right on a case, it is tough to say with absolute certainty if its authentic. Its a shame. Was thinking with the G.I. Joe case what prevents someone from gently breaking the seal with the tape, maybe steaming, and when they repackage glue the tape back on. Would think its hard to tell if the seal had once been broken. Sad but I guess where there is big money you are going to see stuff like this. Have to agree we are probably looking at the tip of the iceberg. Also wondering if people working for the card companies might be able to use what they have there to repackage something and give it the right look.
Don't imagine they ever got to the bottom of who was responsible for the G.I. Joe case?
I have a few ideas about the pair of criminals responsible…
…that’s right! It was, in fact, a two man job and honestly, we really should have seen it coming:
