Thank you to All - My First Album in Probably 30 Years

Just picked up this Dansco at a steeply discounted price (near single digits) online and started transferring this evening from the paper books we had been working. We have another couple partial decades to finish transferring over but I got excited to share. Truly feel young again - what a great feeling. No judgement on the pics/quality of coins please - most were found roll hunting with kids - a little less than half picked up at shows though. Will be upgrading rest of the year; working on key dates now and reading up, of course. No rush-taking it slow.

Thanks to all for providing a great community to share with and learn. Have a great evening everyone.

Looks like a good start. Dansco albums aren't cheap right now. You got a good deal. I recently finished my first album ever. Roosies 1946 to 2022 including proofs. Only missing the 2022 proof and silver proof.

Successful BST with ad4400, Kccoin, lablover, pointfivezero, koynekwest, jwitten, coin22lover, HalfDimeDude, erwindoc, jyzskowsi, COINS MAKE CENTS, AlanSki, BryceM

@gumby1234 How'd the surgery go, great I hope.

Nice fun project to do a Lincoln album....I've been working on mine for 65+ years, not done yet.

@Fairfaxthunder... Great start on the album.... They can be a lot of fun. Good luck in your searches... Speaking of which, getting rolls of cents from the banks/credit unions can be quite productive, and fun for you and the YN's. Cheers, RickO

Great idea for the kids. Do they show real interest? Been thinking about doing the same for my grand kids.

It comes and goes - they like roll hunting but not shows as much.

Its been tough in my area. First, my bank gives out 1 roll a day to customers. Kinda lame. Second, a lot of banks insist that one is a customer to even exchange cash for rolls - happened to me today but the kid didn't care. I have found 1 bank, and 1 bank only that hands them out no questions asked...Bank of 'Merica. And that's just about the only bank that does. I can list 20+ banks in my area that give me a hard time. I have no idea why....

@Fairfaxthunder.... Sorry to hear that.... makes it more difficult. Cheers, RickO
