Just ran across this monster holder in a MintErrorNews article by Dave Camire. No more stickers on OGH needed!
A Closer Look: The GSA 1882 Carson City Morgan Dollar Off Center
By the way, check out the coin. It's awesome too!

Lest you think this is a marketing mock up and not real, the same holder shows up on cert verification!

@Zoins
Yes! Dave Camire’s article with images is exclusive to Mint Error News. And that is an amazing mint error!
When storage space is expensive, holders like this detract from the desirability of the coin.
PS..... Storage space is always expensive.
Buy the coin not the holder(s).
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
It looks huge, bigger than the 5oz state quarter holders I’m thinking 🤔

@Zoins
Some coins only fit in a larger holder.😉
That is a monster... And not really pleasant to look at

Ask yourself what this very rare GSA holder is worth? It now looks very well protected--besides an amazing error the value of it in the original holder makes it even more so (worth protecting).
The holder is huge, and unique. But I am wondering why the coin is called "The Grand Snake"??
Can anyone explain that?? Cheers, RickO
I'm sure that holder was a special order made to the customer's specifications. He wanted to protect a very historic slab containing a very valuable and unique coin. I'm sure the customer is very happy with his new gigantic slab. I wonder what he had to pay for this custom-made slab. I bet it wasn't cheap.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Really cool! I wonder what was the initial purchase price for that one from the GSA?
Some holders only fit in a larger holder too
It actually looks like a standard holder, commonly used for 10 kilogram gold "coins".
By the way, 10 kilos of gold is just under $600,000 intrinsic value.
These monster holders are...comment removed due to negativity

Well we had mega holders, and now the off-center GSA is in a Ludicrous (TM) holder. Are they shipped using Ludicrous speed?
@Connecticoin love that movie... Nice reference lol

Ridiculous.
Don’t forget the giant Ike holder!
I just looked up 'obtrusive' in the dictionary and there was a picture of that holder.
Your hobby is supposed to be your therapy, not the reason you need it.
No, it’s the NGC Ludicrous (TM) Holder 😆
Wow that’s beyond absurd. Nice coin though.
Of note, this coin was owned by @TONEDDOLLARS, a great collector of GSA Morgans!
Will we see some of his other great GSA Morgans show up in these holders now?
The coin itself (not the holder) was previously discussed here:

Ask yourself what the plastic GSA holder is worth? It now looks very well protected--besides an amazing error the value of it in the original holder makes it even more so (worth protecting).
I agree. Imagine accidentally dropping and cracking the GSA holder?
It's nice that these can be protected in a holder now.
I guess this is required to move a box of 20 ?
Chris
Imagine 20 of those 10 kilo gold coins?
That would be like a $12 million collection!
Yes, this is called a "Mega" holder. Also, please check your PMs
