Cool collector names! Anyone know collector Roy G. Biv?

Anyone know Roy G. Biv? I ran across Roy's name while looking for colorful Ikes and have to say that Roy has one of the coolest collector names I've run across!

I don't know him but not only his name is cool, but so are his coin.
I have a friend that used to do show reports for our local coin club newsletter. He did it under the pseudonym I. M. Broke.
.
haha. nice reference. i wonder how many people here know it.
i did heard a LONG time ago that one of the letters was officially dropped.
great named for a toned coin set!
All I know is he likes rainbows…
I'm guessing it's a reference to this
"ROYGBIV is an acronym for the sequence of hues commonly described as making up a rainbow: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet."
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ROYGBIV
There are many cool coins in that set!
I’ve not heard of a letter dropped but that it omits cyan which should be in there.

interesting. never heard about cyan belonging in there! (iirc) not that i am a go-to guy for such things. i did find some obscure references about Indigo being dropped but i don't know the official position as of 2022 but i do know things do change, so it makes sense there will be conflicting reports.
so as not to clutter up mr. zoins thread with my antics, here are some coins via his ROY's album.

i get the distinct impression this is a moose:
I like the name but all I can say about that 1971 is if I were to send that in, it would come back QC 101% of the time.

Well, that is an interesting.... and appropriate 'nom de plume' for a tarnished coin collector. Checked for current sequence and found this site. Cheers, RickO
