Congrats, nice addition.
That's a Hook Neck?

No, it is not.
Yeah PCGS says it’s a colonial type whatever that is .

I believe PCGS got that one wrong. Never seen a hookneck look like that. Someone with more knowledge that me and certainly correct me and I'll learn from it.

Perhaps Andy can explain/dispute this? Doesn't look like a hookneck to me. RSP
Cool coin, lots of stuff going on here.
AU58+ is an usual grade, don't see many of those around. For the Iturbide design, familiar with the colonial edge variety designation. The eagle being designated as hook-neck is a first. Not sure about that call out. The eagle looks like the normal crowned eagle. Hook neck is a Cap and Rays designation and looks just a bit different than this one.
Does it look like a AU58 in hand? The Trueview pics are a bit rough and don't show much detail. Your pictures are better in that regards but hard to tell.
Houston... we have a problem
Experience the World through Numismatics...it's more than you can imagine.
It’s an Iturbide and nice for an issue that usually is very weakly struck and comes with problems

But not a Hookneck.
Yes I think it looks nice in hand as a 58+
Must be an error by our hosts as to its designation .
