amazing color and 5FS?
@Aspie_Rocco ... Excellent pictures.... Might consider one of those lenses. Cheers, RickO
I hear you. I bought one too; it's a different brand but looks the same as yours. I like the test shot results so far. A little tedious to keep clipping it on and off, but I still give it 5 stars so far.
If we were all the same, the world would be an incredibly boring place.

nice!
if you guys run into edge blur, this can be a side effect of getting too close to 1:1 ratio. zoom out a bit or increased distance from coin to lens and it should clear that up.
this doesn't apply to if the camera or coin or whatever are not parallel to each other, ie: tilt. that gets into some depth of field and iso issues amongst other things.
nj Aspie on capturing the color IN a slab while showing the whole coin.
This was an NGC slab that was not sealed, similar to recent threads on pcgs slabs. I just use it to hold this 1957 and took the front cover off for pictures. The slab originally held a 1943 P nickel.

.
just because i want to be 100% positive, so if/when i repeat it, i am speaking accurately.
you mean to tell me/us that ngc is ALSO not sealing some slabs?
I do not have many or deal in NGC material very often so I cannot say for certain. However, I went to crack out a cherry picked variety and this particular slab was not sealed at all.
I easily pried it apart with my thumbnail and it cleanly separated. I saved the slab as an oddity and then put this 1957 inside (a raw purchase)
I had a second variety crack out also in an NGC slab, that was most definitely well sealed.
For reference, I have probably cracked 8-10 NGC coins ever and only one was not sealed.

Great images👍
Nice macro pictures! I’ve been using this type at work to take pictures of product defects, and also for coins at home if I want to take microscope like pictures of varieties

I use a scissors jack to move the iPhone up and down so I can adjust the focus like with a stage microscope.
Here’s some example pictures
