WAY TOO SHARP on the obverse to be a "no D" 1922 cent. These coins were stuck for dies that were in their terminal state. The light spot under the date is a tell tale sign for those who are not familiar with how the real thing looks.

i do look very forward to a more comprehensive approach to the 22-d 1c. the old ones did good getting us here but a new one to take us into the future has been needed for a while.
is that really a monster radial break on the obv going from the rim to the chin?

VAM nailed it. The reverse die cracks are a dead giveaway that it's a 22-D.
