"Economy tier coins that we received after 7/30 will not be ready for this year's ANA convention. Unfortunately, much of our staff came down with covid this past week and we were unable to clear as much of our backlog as we had hoped."

If they were received after 7/30, they likely wouldn't have been ready by ANA anyway, even with a full staff.

Maybe a clorox wipe might be better than an alcohol dip.

This variant is finding everyone it seems. Based on the patterns I'm seeing around here (including personal experience), pretty much everyone that is reasonably healthy will recover fully, though they won't be able to pick up the smell of old coins for a few days. Hope all works out well for the CAC office.

I have dropped off coins at their office several times, and the staff are all wonderfully helpful people.
I hope everyone recovers fully including family members who might have been exposed to them.
America has let its guard down and is pretending the virus is gone, but it is everywhere and more contagious than last year.

Seems to be a resurgence of this virus everywhere. My daughter in NC - who manages a Doctor's office - just fell ill with it... Seeing people who made it through the last two years without it, now being hit. Que Sera, Sera.... I will just continue as always. Hope the CAC people have a mild version and recover quickly.
