Nice Kern! I like the early dates 1916-1924 in the SLQ series. These dates are all quite scarce and underrepresented IMHO. A lot of these early dates were melted during the silver melts because the dates were worn off. The date was recessed starting with the 1925 issue and more of the 1925-1930 issues survive.

Nice example!

Careful. It has a hint of toning.
A nice example with a nice bold date!
Nice coin 🙂
Beautiful coin! My dad's birth year, so I 'm reminded of him when I see it. Love the golden toning.
My dad was born in 1916. Wish some one would have gotten a couple of rolls of the then new SLQs and given those to him (and passed on to me). Boo hoo.
Very pretty coin!
Very nice coin!
I knew it would happen.
I love high grade SLQs, particularly the pre-1925 issues. Nice piece.
RIP Mom- 1932-2012
A very attractive coin. Always fond of Standing Liberty!
