1886-S Morgan Dollar: Another upgrade

anablepanablep Posts: 5,140 ✭✭✭✭✭

This 1886-S dollar is an MS64 CAC verified upgrade from a 63 coin for my collection. The 1886-S mintage is lower than other early San Fransisco minted dollars but is really only rare in grades 65 and up, though the prices are not extremely high at that point. My interest in this coin lies with the rim toned look that I find eye-appealing and which forms the basis of my collection.

Feel free to offer your thoughts on the coin and I'll try to post an image of the MS63 coin it replaces soon. Thanks for looking.

Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!
