Quarter I found.

Now my question is is this an error coin or a damage coin. It looks trippy and thought about sending it in but I didn't want to get laughed at.

    Yes it did. I'm new here and kinda lost still but I have a few coins I have questions about but kinda shy. Hell this is my 1st post and I have lost one month left on my subscription...l..     Somebody tapped the edges. Technique for making rings out of coins. Sailors used to do this out on long voyages at sea.

    @Sergs... Welcome aboard. Yes, that quarter has been edge hammered. When I was in the Navy, I often saw guys doing that with silver coins to make rings. They used spoons in most cases. Cheers, RickO
