    1st off, how do you know what it looked like before it went down?
    And, how many people are now going to put there coins in poop to see if they tone?
    a sight I would rather not see.................. :o

    I'm guessing it's mostly the stomach acid (HCl) that toned it. A neat experiment would be to swallow a cent after eating Mexican food, Italian Food, Chinese food, etc. to see which one produces the best toning results. Any volunteers? :o

    Now that is certainly one coin when cleaning is acceptable. A Very Harsh Cleaning.
