Possibly a New Find Die Crack 1924-S

I was inspecting a recent purchase of mine and noticed what appears to be a die break on my 1924-S. I checked VAMs and didn't see anything present representing the die crack. It is below the DOL area on the reverse.
Any information would be greatly helpful.

pretty sure that is a clash. it comes faint or VERY strong in that area.
cracks/breaks do form at clash areas because that is metal smashing against metal under VERY high pressure. that being said, even if a crack, unlikely it would be listable on its own.
if you're gonna try to do vamming of potentially obscure ones (there are over 6000 all-in) you will need to learn to look for multiple pups (pick up points aka diagnostics) or you will run yourself into the ground. learn to use the sort-by pages appropriately but don't rely on any one method 100%.
vamming is NOT for the faint of heart/mind if you venture outside the list coins.
It is in the right area for a die clash.... good chance that is what you have.

I'm assuming it doesn't add any significant value on thr coin?
Thank you for sharing! Lots of great information on this site. Looks like a common theme. So no significant value.
"I'm assuming it doesn't add any significant value on thr coin?"
Correct.
.
rockin vamz is right.
i will just add, as good practice, any one feature like this is most likely not valuable BUT may be on a coin with other features, that do make it popular/valuable. you will need to find the precise vam to know for sure.
based on the images, no offense, but for vamming, aren't too good (like i said, vamming is rough and need excellent images) i'd say this isn't one of the better ones or a discovery coin but again, you need to find the precise vam to be 100%.
i'll say 95% it isn't a good one but will leave 5% because i am not positive and the images preclude this imo.
That looks like a nice 24-S. A recently sold one appears to something similar.

This does not add anything to this discussion but I am wondering why there is a difference in the web links as they appear to be the same site to me. See one from vamzarockin above and the one below.
