These were considered genuine for some time, but have since proven to be counterfeits all struck with a reverse die made from an 1899-O Micro O reverse. Still very collectible and have value, especially to Morgan dollar specialists.

Condition on both is quite a bit better than average. Most of this family of vintage counterfeits are considerably worn.

amazing how much the beveled devices stand out. still boggles my mind how long these were considered authentic.
