    I had a 1917 certified by PCGS MS64 and it was actually purple! I need to look through my pics on my desktop computer to see if I have any. That was about 8 to 10 years ago.

    I have seen some with a little purple but the ones I have seen tend to favor red more. Share it if you find it.

    That is an unusual color. Would be great to get an SEM analysis to see what made the blue discoloration. Cheers, RickO
