Hard to tell from the pictures, either mild PMD or a strike through... Better pictures will help. Cheers, RickO

Yeah this one is weird I agree could be PMD :)
Do you think the reverse is weak on areas or something? If so I've got matches on both 1943 D steel cent & S,, I think maybe 🤔
    Thanks @ricko

@SlickCoins ... The reverse on the steel cent looks fine... no anomalies. Cheers, RickO

The N & the E in one, the E and N & the T in cent, the F in OF, I mean you can see the fading of the letters in my opinion.
It looks like US of BUS and UN of UNUM might be weak on mine also.
Still agree with @ricko until better pics :)
    Thanks

Based on the the new US & UN, I've got some where it looks like it's fading plus that new area also.

So it is was I thought 🤔
Wow they freaked out and created a double die JMO
Let's just talk about the separation in the 2
    Thanks all

All I see is a 1942 cent with some crud on the "2".

    All glory is fleeting.

Oh sorry the D in God,, the date,, the reverse,, minor doubling.
    This
PS you're probably right it's dirt or crud that makes an illusion of a gap.

Hmmm the perfectly rounded circle mark you mean :)

    SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

In my opinion this coin has had the same process as my 1978 D LMC :)
PS oh this i will send to CONECA for sure

This one is my match,,, in my opinion
PS if you all want I can go threw all the letters I questioned above and match them to what's on mine,, there's a bunch of markers in my opinion.
    Thanks all
Oh one more thing,,, I'm not saying I'm right either,, this is all just my opinions.

It gets better,,, these marks are on all the S steel cents top graded @ PCGS. Well not all I'm sure there's different ones,,, JMO
Here are my marks that match :) 1943 S Steel.
Also the 2 is extra thin in this area, whereas the 3 is a copper consuming in that area.

So then the story changes in my opinion,, they spot it's broken & fix it, now coins like this are abundant but you can clearly see it's been fixed in my opinion now correcting multiple coins same marks,,, JMO.
    Most likely I'm wrong,
    Thanks all

Great photos, but I don't see a DDO or even a RPD.

The problem here is your opinion is based on your imagination rather than numismatic knowledge. ;)
Opinions are like butt holes, we all have one and they all stink...... don't be a butt hole.

Reminds me of an acid trip I embarked on way back in 1972. ;-)

Or was that the Peyote buttons in the canyons of Big Sur around 1976?

I'm up for an episode. Mostly because there is a 2 in my moniker which is wrong. Should be "to".

    SlickCoinsSlickCoins Posts: 658 ✭✭✭

I'm thinking cause they found the same exact thing maybe IDK :)
I did say they fixed this and now there is like examples JMO from the pictures on PCGS.
Hmmm I'm thinking I'd get the same response at CONECA this might just be one of them coins non provable.
Probably falls into the category of I'm looking to close,,, hmmm which I seen other error coins that are based on same type criteria.
    Thanks all

I strongly suspect he still makes the occasional appearance under various alter egos.
