2020 W V75 Tall Grass Strike Through Error

Today while CRH Quarters, my first box yielded me my first West Point Strike through Error Tall Grass, Part of Georges Chin is affected along with Liberty and Q in Quarter. Not the prettest W find. Yet a nice piece anyway. Does anyone think this coin should be graded?

What are you thinking? Grease die fill?
Edit to add- not sure if slabbing this piece warrants the expense, but I'll let others chime in.

Congratulations on the W find, however, your strike through isn't that significant enough for any grading thought. Just my opinion. Sorry

"Jesus died for you and for me, Thank you,Jesus"!!!
--- If it should happen I die and leave this world and you want to remember me. Please only remember my opening Sig Line.Yes me believe its a greaser for sure!
I agree. If you've got fifty bucks to spare and want it in a slab, go ahead. I don't think they'll attribute it as any errors though. Most coins like this that I've seen just get kept in 2x2s.

When one becomes a member of PCGS, I believe they offer free grading for joining. LOL Now lets find the W Rotated Die!
If you got this out of a circulated roll of mixed quarters wouldn't this most likely be PMD? In my opinion definitely not a strike through either.
It is a grease filled die strike, but the mint state number will be low.
Nice struck thru machinery grease example

@arby96- I would take a screen shot of this, print it out and send it in with your submission.........problem solved!..
Right Fred? 😂 😉 👍🏻 👍🏻
If the OP is going to sell it it’s probably not worth paying the submission fees

It is if one has many other coins that should be graded. Collected many coins over the past 50 years. The fee for membership will be worth it once I decide the pick of the litter to send in.
I don’t think the PCGS membership includes free submissions for the Mint Error tier,
But I’m not 100% certain

I would not bother with submitting it, but that is just my perspective. Certainly, if one likes a coin, finds it interesting, wants preservation for some reason, then go ahead. Your coin, your investment. Have fun, Cheers, RickO
