CAC Rare Coin Market Review, Aug, Sept, Oct 2022 - Pricing question/interpretation

I just received my courtesy copy in the mail - thank you CDN!
I have noticed some price irregularities between CU price guide and CDN. Is there a way to submit a question short of calling to get a correction or explanation? They have a phone number for ordering.
My question is why would the 1855-O pricing for CAC be less than CU price guide for the grades noted. 1855-S seems more in line except for AU58. I would think always a CAC price guide would be higher than a non-CAC price 99.99% of the time.
Maybe the prices below are reality but I suspect at least for 55-O that something is amiss. I think both guides are retail to retail comparison (average dealer ask). Does CDN average the NGC and PCGS CAC coins price guides together?
Examples: 1855-O and S seated quarters:
1855-O CDN CAC price XF40 $****, XF45 $****, AU50 $****, AU58 ****
1855-O CU price guide XF40 $1750, XF45 $2750, AU50 $3000, AU58 $5000
1855-S CDN CAC price XF40 $****, XF45 $****, AU50 $****, AU58 $****
1855-S CU price guide XF40 $1100, XF45 $1250, AU50 $1500, AU58 $3500
Anyone else note anything unusual?
Freddie
Edited to remove CDN CAC pricing since I do not have permission to reprint.

You could ask @JohnF
The thing that I noticed that is unusual, is that there are no S with cac approval in these grades and the O has 2 in 40 and 1 in 50 for cac appoved. So not sure what would be used to generate a cac pricing if none exist. Also there are not many on the pcgs population either and the auction results are old except for a couple of the S. CC shows GerryF has a S ngc50 for 1525 so that is the only current price point I quickly found. This might all have to do with a lack of data. Hope I didn't mess any of this up. No double check.
Also the cac prices are publicly available on the cac website (along with the cac pop).

I look at both CPG and CF in arriving at a pricing Number (consensus) for new inventory. Cost plus is always a factor. CPG is based on CDN bid. These are 2 different organizations using their own methadology so it’s not surprising there can be differences. I really don’t worry much about it. Being in the green when the item sells my main focus. Each coin is unique so making generalizations about Price Guides does not seem like a good flight path.
The other thing for any issue there are A-B-C coins. So PQ material I certainly want get more. So where I determine where a coin is in the grade range my main focus, then price accordingly. The excel function where the highest of cost plus, CU, CPG is selected works good enough for me as a starting point. Unless of course I may want add more for super toner, super PQ,etc.
At CDN/Greysheet we don't currently use PCGS pricing to influence our perception of market value. I think it's important that we make independent determinations of market value. I did review these two issues so new pricing is already available on our web site and app, while the CAC site usually takes a few hours to catch the updates. Thank you,
John

Yes, both have low or no pops in that range. I see the CAC valuation's are more in line with CDN. The AU50 pop1 for 1855-o is fairly new I have not seen it maybe 6 months ago. I would love to see it!
Another great source for CAC pricing is Gerry Fortin's website in which you can search CAC only and most sales have pictures.
