GTG for my first Seated Liberty coin ANSWER POSTED

Three different (equally poor) lighting setups to hopefully give you the best shot. Results posted tonight.
Edit - Now 4 poor pictures to choose from. This is why I try to buy coins with TVs when possible!

I feel like this is a wild ass guess from the pictures! I'll go with PF63 Cameo

PF63 (no cameo)
Nothing is as expensive as free money.
PR62
Proof (cleaned)
I don't think it would have as much contrast if it were cleaned. Perhaps a 62.
Young Numismatist
Proof 62 Cameo.

+1
coins in this date range for this denom are known for PL properties, so i'll say au details, no PL.
Sorry, I was just comparing it to mine shown here for comparison.
@1946Hamm Beautiful!
Guesses are all over the place but I'll take the heat on that because pictures were not great and some scratches on the holder. I tried my best but my best was not that good
@Coinscratch and @dunkleosteus430 were on it. Thanks all!
Old holder, no upgrade.
I found a local dealer who will help me submit to CAC (I don't have an account). At some point I'll submit a box of 20 and this is on the short list of possible inclusions.
To be fair, that was holdered before PCGS attributed CAM coins before 1950. It could still be CAM.

I didn't guess earlier but had thought 61. That could be due to the scratchy holder so didn't want to say anything.

The first pics made me think low 60cam, but then the actual photo of the holder made me think no cam.

It certainly looks Cameo to me.

How big of a premium would a cam designation be on the coin?
Of the four services, not to divert, but only Anacs I believe will do "cameo" on PL coins when warranted.
Hard to say because the market is thin enough that (without looking at every single year) there aren't a ton of recent transactions in a given year/grade in both Proof and Proof Cameo. But, guessing by looking at general trends, not much at this grade, maybe $100
@lermish Cool, where do I collect my points?
I would have believed 63 cam as well.
That’s incorrect - both PCGS and NGC utilize the PL designation on business strikes. And the subject coin is a Proof, anyway.

I was just mentioning the prooflike coins as an aside because I saw that Anacs sometimes puts "Cameo" designations on those. For example, MS64 prooflike cameo. I have not seen that with the other services.
I misread your post (as being about non-cameo PL coins) and apologize for that.

Late to the game, but guessed PR63 no CAM... ... Cheers, RickO
