Yes, and the reverse is still white. Not sure if something was on the surface before it went in the holder or not. I was trying to highlight the crack.
Stored in a very unfriendly environment.... Possibly something on the surface prior to encapsulation, but due to the pattern - dark at the crack and changing away from it - I would lean to the environment. Cheers, RickO
