1921-S WLH Counterfeit on Ebay

On the fake coin, the numbers of the date are out of position, ie the first "1" is slightly lower than the "9", On the genuine example, it's slightly higher. The last "1" is level with the "2" on the fake ; on the genuine, it's higher. Then there's the "2" which is completely wrong ; on the fake, the bottom half is much thinner, but the genuine half shows a squat shaped digit, with a fatter strike. Numerous other issues, as several of the lettering fonts are different, One example is "In God we Trust" is smaller and a different font.

I vote altered date on a genuine coin. This one most likely started life as a '41-S.
Definitely looks like an altered date. You can see how the metal around the date has been tooled.
