1776 Guinea: How much would ★ and/or + mean to you?

Posted my toned 1776 guinea on the lightside forum for Independence Day and it reminded me that every time I pick up this coin, I think: Damn. This little gem should have a "★". Especially compared to my other guinea, which is a bleach blonde bimbo by comparison.
But PCGS doesn't do ★s.
And if I'm looking at the pops correctly, there are only 21 ★s across the entire 100+ year run of guineas ATS from 1707-1815.
And of those only 1 below mint state has received a ★--a sole 1714 in AU58.
Maybe it's just a case of "ownership adding a point"? What do you think? ★ or no ★? Or would it matter to you in the least?
We are like children who look at print and see a serpent in the last letter but one, and a sword in the last.

why do you it deserves a star?
Original looking yes .....star no imo.

Great coin. I liked seeing it on the lite side.
Don’t know if it gets a star and it wouldn’t matter to me.

Wouldn’t mean too much to me while I own any coin, but it could matter to a buyer when I sell of course.
Very nice-looking coin.
Pretty coin. As for stars, I'm not even sure exactly what they mean, so I don't care.

The coin stands on its own, regardless of grade or designation.
I'd keep it in the PCGS plastic as the TV is excellent on it as well.
Would be happy to own that and if you ever moved on from it, would love a shot at it!

in this instance... zero.

Most of the star coins I have seen are secondary toned or have in some other way been processed. To me it is often been a red flag.

which is why I often question NGC grading prowess

Not in the least. Wonderful coin with or without a star.
A star means that a coin is something special for the grade and that you probably shouldn't be looking at the Graysheet for a price. This much is totally apparent from looking at the coin itself. Keep it as is. If PCGS ever decides to adopt such a designation, you could send it for reconsideration, but they'd be wise to dig out from under their backlog before adding complexity to their grading.

Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'll likely keep her where she is. I don't have any immediate plans to let her go.

An attractive AU50 by my standards. I have no use for + or *.
personally, i won't buy a coin unless it's an OGH, with a plus, a star, and gold CAC
I think that's a stunning coin, and it gets a LordM star (LM★) right here. That's all that matters.
