Fake 1878-CC half dollar on eBay
This is a horrible fake example of an 1878-CC SLH. The surfaces are lumpy and the mintmark is obviously fake. I've reported it but would appreciate more reports. I'd hate to see someone screwed out of $500-1000. Someone has already bid on the coin for over $200.

Reported it.
The bidding looks "fake" as well. "Private listing - bidders identity protected"
Appears to be the same seller on 2 accounts.
Both are in Saraburi, Thailand and the item description is the same.
It works now with your link. Thanks.
Yes, it's the same seller.
The second account shows a number of sold counterfeits. Seller has been messaged and all of the sales have been reported to EBay.

Both reported...
2nd seller is known to be bad.
Looks like the seller ended both making the high bidder the winner.
Both removed.
Removed now... .but thank you @LanceNewmanOCC for capturing the picture. Cheers, RickO
