1957 D Lincoln Wheat Cent Reverse Error

Reverse has beginning of what appears to be a second stem on the west wheat stalk. Comes out of the same area the main stalk comes out of, but travels slightly southwest. I have looked around other sites but not seen this error. Found eight total in a roll. Anybody seen anything like this?

Sounds like a minor die crack, but impossible to say for sure without a photo. At any rate the fact you found eight in one roll should tell you that it is not rare or important/valuable, keep them if you like as collecting is about keeping the coins that interest you.

You are still Applicant level. Once it turns to Member you can post photos. Might take a few days or more.
Or, if you can put on a photo hosting site you can post the link here.
As suggested, if you found eight then it is probably not a major error/variety. My guess is die crack or worn die.
