A friend's wife wore this pendent to a couples dinner on Thursday. She let me take photos (and she said she has another pendent containing a bigger gold coin).

It is a Half Eagle and not a Quarter Eagle.

Also, there are no 1885-S quarter eagles.
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.
Nice coin... Obvious wear, not sure if there may be any 'holder' damage though. Cheers, RickO
